Surfing lessons at Aulani?

We're two weeks and counting til Aulani! I'm thinking surfing lessons sounds fun....

Has anyone done them through Aulani Excursions? Worth the $$?

We went with Girls that Surf. We went through Aulani's Tour Desk. They were fantastic. Kids had a blast. Not bad a price, especially to come home and say you surfed in Hawaii. They had a photographer on the beach who takes photos of everyone. I think it was $40-50 but so worth it. My camera didn't do justice.

We did not, but we did surf lessons through Hawaiian Fire and they're surf location is very close to Aulani. They're firefighters as well, and were FANTASTIC with my kids. I highly highly recommend them.

We are 3 weeks out and I just called Aulani and booked our surf lesson. I didn't do it through them because we have a car and they said it was stupid to pay the $40 transfer fee just to ride along. They said they used the company Girls Who Surf who have now merged with Surf HNL. I booked right from their site. Pretty much the same price as Aulani other than my daughter will now ride in the car with us.
