surf lessons at typhoon lagoon

Sorry, I'm not a teen, but I have a soon-to-be 13 year old and a 19 year old. We are planning a trip to WDW in December and both girls are very interested in taking surf lessons at typhoon lagoon. I thought maybe some of you would know more about this or maybe have taken the lessons?
