surf lessons at TL

Has anyone done the surf lessons at TL. What time?? How much?? Was it worth the money??

My son is interested in trying this also. I'd like to hear from those who have done it.

We tried for my then 11yo DS and 14 yoDD. Three months out and they were booked for the times offered during our stay.

the usual line and were sent to the right people, DH and a friend of our did this. Had a lot of fun, but be prepared for some rest time, they were SO tired the rest of the day.

My husband and our oldest (11 at the time) did this last April and LOVED it. It was being held on Tuesday mornings, before Typhoon Lagoon opened, and it was a 3 hour lesson. I think it was from 7am - 10am, but they needed to arrive at 6:30 or so. They really had a blast. We booked pretty far in advance - maybe 120+ days or so. You call the central reservation line and they patch you through to the right place.

Can someone tell me if they do this on Friday or Saturday and also a price range?? You guys are great!!!

My husband and daughter did this a couple of years ago. They had a blast. I'm not sure of the days of the week that they run it, but I do remember that it was around $250 per person (this was in 2003). We called 407-WDW-PLAY to make reservations. Hope this helps.

Last April it was $135.00 per person, and it was only offered one day a week. You do need to call way in advance because it is a very limited class size.
