A historic swell arrived yesterday on the state’s south shores (Waikiki). Be safe! Be smart! Especially if you have keiki!

Longer but it’s weakening starting today through the week (per Star-Advertiser.com). Waikiki rarely gets surf this big which is why I figured to share with our DVC Ohana! Places like Sandy’s are pumping but again be safe and smart! Social media makes people do crazy things!

The Snorkel Store on Maui does a great daily surf report. It’s very specific about conditions at specific beaches (and basically all of them are “please stay totally out of the water” today). I’m sure you could google a good one for Oahu too.

I saw footage from The Big Island where huge waves were crashing over what looked like a condo complex too. It’s wild!

We are on Kauai and the waves here on Saturday and Sunday were incredible. We had so much fun watching the surfers braving the waves. All the locals were out watching them it was quite an experience.
