We have friends there now on their first trip. Gave them a ton of advice and I hope it's going well. It's like I'm mentally on their trip with them and not here at home. Just curious what the crowds are like.

I am curious about that, too. I had friends there two weeks ago and I thought about them constantly! I hope someone reports soon.

I have a friend who has been there with her family since FRI, FEB 1st. She said they had a few days that were a little crowded - especially EMH at MK on SUN night. But, overall she says it's not that crowded. They've walked right onto the rides the last 2 days & the weather has been perfection. Sounds like they are really enjoying themselves. They are staying at ASMovies, and she said the resort is having a lot of problems with a group of teenage girls from Argentina who are staying there---it's a group of 60, with only 3 adult chaperones. Apparently, people in the rooms near them aren't sleeping at night due to the loud noise, AND they cut the bus line last night at MK...made many people upset. My friend, as well as a few others who complained to the manager at ASMovies, were given 2 of their nights free. Apparently, he's been getting complaints about them all week. Hope your friends aren't dealing with that.

Sounds like Disney should have or enforce a ratio of an adult for every so many children. Because, technically, teenagers are children!

We just got back home today after spending Feb 2nd through Feb 8th at Disney. Crowds were not all that bad for the most part. There were waits are most rides and attractions, but some stuff at MK were as little as 10 minutes. Big rides Rockin Roller Coaster, Everest, etc were usually around 50-70 minutes throughout the day.

We got into shows like Raiders of the Lost Ark quite easily. We always made the first monorail and usually the first tram if we drove (unlike this summer). Of course on Sunday night, the monorail broke down. Yay! We got the second on that time.

There were LOTS of cheerleaders and dancers there. LOTS. For the most part, they seemed well behaved. When they hit the parks, bigger rides got crowded fast. No real ryhme or reason as to when they hit the parks either. Sometimes it seemed like at night and other times it seemed like the day. There are also at least 3 or 4 of what appeared to be South American groups. Seemed like each group had 30 to 40 or so people in it whenever we ran across them. They are all quite nice and friendly.
