Suprising 8 YO daughter

So, last August myself, my hubby and daughter visited the world and well, for want of a better word fell in love - and I thank you on the DIS for without your knowledge and help I'd have been a complete mess...

Anyhoo, my darling daughter - no sooner had we returned home wanted to go again.

The answer, no. We want to move to a bigger house, it was very expensive etc.

House has now been chosen and we are looking to move in July - DD still asks to return, but we have a new house, we can't afford it, we need go save for this, for that... She understands, of course, but she is desperate to return...

Little does my baby know, that we booked to return about a week after we returned... I fell in love, and I think the OH did too (tho he doesn't admit it that freely)

So now comes my dilemma ... We have kept it a secret for this long, we will keep it a secret until we go... Now I need your help.

On the Friday, Madison, my baby girl will be going go holiday club (same as every day that week). She will think I will be going to work, but I am on annual leave. I will return home pack, sort out all the school stuff (I.e uniform) for when we return and basically get everything sorted.

My parents will then come and collect me and drive to pick up DD from club early (only an hour as they eat dinner there normally) we will meet her dad at a restaurant and have a meal. We are a family that eat out a lot, so this wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

After the meal, we are heading straight to the airport as we are staying on site over night before our flight (parents are driving us bless them)

The plan is to tell her over dinner... But my question to you is, how? Some options were...

A Disney cake
Plush toys and hints

But they just seem, I don't know a but flat for such a huge surprise ...

Does anyone have any idea?

Why not play a round of 20 Questions? While you're waiting for your food, you can start the game. That way it's both a guessing game and a surprise at the same time. Then when she finally guesses the answer right, hand her a Mickey plush and maybe a card with a Disney Giftcard in it. It doesn't have to be anything huge, from what it sounds like she'll be ecstatic enough without the material items.

When we did our surprise, we did a treasure hunt with code word message. You could do the message without the treasure hunt. Give her the secret message to work on while you wait for your food. You could make the message "We are going to Disney World tomorrow!" or something like that. Write in numbers below each blank to correspond to each letter. For example at the top you could put "E=4 + 2" and so under every blank that is supposed to be an E you put a 6. Hope that makes sense! The math just helps it take longer and be more suspenseful. This is what we did, except that they found the math problems at different locations in our house and yard.
