suprised by french quarter

me and my girlfriend reutrned about a week ago from our stay at port orleans french quarter. it was our first stay on disney property for the both of us. first i must say the resort is gorgeous and was better than i ever thought. the one thing that bothered us was the service. the food court workers were slow, unhelpful, and very unfriendly. i couldnt believe it. one day i waited inline for over five minutes for an extra plate while three workers talked to eachother and stared at me. finally a worker on the other side of the food court came and helped me. by the end of our vacation we couldnt take the service anymore so we went to riverside's food court and they were wonderful there. so many other things happened at french quarter but its too long to go into detail. my travel agent couldnt believe what i told her when we came back and she insisted on us writing a letter to disney. other than that i loved the atmosphere of the resort...just a little suprised by their hospitality.

We really enjoyed POFQ when we stayed there too.

The rooms were great, the pool slide excellent and one night we had a late dinner in the Scat Cat lounge and there was live entertainment that we did not expect.

A nice resort...
