My 9 year anniversary was this thursday April 29. We went out for an excellent dinner and we decided to exchange gifts at the resteraunt- i saw the Disney box from my husband and couldnt wait! so we were at the resteraunt and i was eyeballing the box the whole time! he said do you want it now, YES YES YES!!!!! so i opened it and there was my favorite character eeyore, i was all like oh this is awesome! he said hold on, got down on one knee and presented me with a box - it had mickey sourcerer earrings and he told me to pick up the eeyore t shirt, underneath was a wedding invitation to renew our vows on April 28 2005 at the wedding pavillion at the GF i almost fainted! there was an autographed photo of Mickey and Minnie, a card from a wedding coordinator and a mickey and minnie pen set (bride and Groom)
we always have planned on renewing the vows for our 10 year but I couldnt believe that my husband got away with planning this without me guessing! i feellike it is a chance for a do over of our first wedding, we had so many tings go wrong- dj not being there, the wrong food was served 1 hour late, no one cmae for the pictures, my photographer never gave us our pictures, so to be able to renew at our most Favorite place in the world and to be able to get our picture taken at the MK!!!! Oh my goodness!!!! i feel like i am going to faint!!!
has anyone ever done the vow renewal??? i could use some advice, what kind of dress did you wear? how many people did you have with you? did you do the pictures?

First, congratualtions on the 9 years! When so many don't make it that far, it is surely something to celebrate!

Second, good for your hubby! I'm impressed and so happy for you both!

Third, for your VR...Since your first wedding seems to be a major disappointment for you guys (I don't blame you), why don't you do everything you wanted to go rigt the first time around! There are no hard and fast rules about a VR, some choose to wear bridemaids dresses as opposed to bridal gowns, but others have the whole bridal experience all over again!

Are you having a custom or intimate? Any ideas of where you will have your reception?

Can't wait to hear more about your planning...

You may want to consider also joining the Disneymooners...We have a lot of VRs over there, right now, and you can get some ideas.

i love the support and help on these boards soooo much. i feel very lucky to have a DH who understands the love of WDW and he wants to have a VR ceremony there as much as me. I will be contacting the Wedding coordinator today to find out exactly what Iget to do!!! how exciting! we are having an Intimate ceremony, that is what the letter says, so i guess I will get the details today...

Those wedding pictures with Mickey and Minnie and the ones at the Castle made me cry!!!!!! They are so precious. I hope top include our 2 DS in the pictures, and we are hoping to adopt a little girl this year too. So much to do...I feel like rabbit
