Ok, my wife and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon in Nov. I want to plan something special for her and I need some advice. Any suggestions. This is her account so dont e-mail it.

Dinner at California Grill and Cirque Du Solei (sp?). My wife and I did both as a surprise for her birthday and she couldn't have been happier. A very fun and romantic evening.

How sweet!

It really depends on what she likes, you know her better than anyone. For unusual ideas, there's a company called Gifts of a Lifetime (giftsofalifetime.com) that does some very personal and special things. Not inexpensive, but for your honeymoon might be worth it.

Have fun!

I proposed to my wife as we went into Epcot (right when the guy took our entry picture) He was so excited he took many more pictures and they gave us complimentary photos etc. I have the moment I pulled out the ring until the moment she said yes and we kissed. They bring back great memories everytime we see them. You could use the entry photo for your surprise too....and capture the moment forever.

My wife and I honeymooned in WDW in Oct. 2000. One of the best things we did was to have a "couple's" massage at the Grand Floridian Spa. It was awesome. I think it was called the "Couple's Romantic Evening Massage".........even though we did it in the mid afternoon. But the both of you are in the same romantical massage room with candles and low light, etc........and you each get this wonderful massage by a separate person......VERY NICE.............

My wife was the one who suggested it, but had I known about it ahead of time, I would have booked it myself and scored real big.....................

Pricey, but worth it....................

My DH and I just returned from a trip (sans children!) and the highlight was a Segway "Around the World at Epcot" tour. I knew that my DH would like it, but turned out I had a blast. Something totally different and not exactly romantic, but something (in addition to all the romantic stuff ;) ) to consider.

We also went to Pleasure Island and Circue Du Soleil, along with some good meals, but the Segway tour was still my favorite!

For our first anniversary we did a sunrise hot air balloon flight, then went to the parks and I had Gifts of A Lifetime decorate the room. Gifts of a Lifetime was worth every penny.

DH and I went to WDW for our honeymoon 23 years ago. We will be going again next month to celebrate our anniversary. (The kids think it's cool and each want to get married there!)

Congrats and may you have a long and happy life together.

During our honeymoon we splurged and went to V&A one night. I would suggest that you make her an appt. to get her hair done up (if she enjoys those things) and then go to dinner there.

Also, put exciting honeymoon activities all over the place. The only problem I had surprising my DH with the Segway tour is that they bill it ahead of time and he happened to see the bill... so not good if she does the bills. But it is so much fun!

You could also always have the wedding ears in the room when you get there with champane and chocolate covered strawberries. DH and I are not a fan of champane, but their "Fairy Tale" one is really nice and smooth.

Congrats and have a great time!

If you want to do something memorable, I'd suggest one of the behind the scenes tours. Many, many WDW guests don't even know they exist, and it really gives you something to talk about when you return. Keys to the Kingdom is a great behind the scenes tour of the Magic Kingdom. You'll go behind the scenes at 2 or 3 attractions (and get to ride them without waiting in the standard guest line), into the tunnels under the park itself, and other private areas that are hidden to the public. Lunch is included and there are discounts if you happen to be AP holders or AAA members.

If you want something romantic, try a spa treatment or maybe a flower / gift basket delivery to the room.

You can find info on spa services at www.relaxedyet.com. There is a brand new spa at the Saratoga Springs resort, and I've read nothing but good things about the service (once you get past the price, of course.)

www.disneyflorist.com has info on some of the gift baskets and arragements they offer. Click on "our own unique designs" for the items with a unique Disney flair.

Another vote for a Couples Massage or some sort of SPA treatment for her at the GF SPA.

I called ahead of time and made the arrangements for our anniversary and then surprised her. She loved it!

Have Fun,

Ryan - Congrats! I would contact Gifts of a Lifetime (they are online - http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/ ). They helped me plan a fantastic event for someone a long time ago, and it was unique and truly memorable. They can do scavenger hunts, room decoration, and custom events - amazing. Expensive, but sooo worth it.

I am also putting in a vote for Victoria and Albert's - the best meal I have ever had, hands down.

I have heard there are some delicious chocolate covered strawberries you can order to your room either from room service or Boardwalk Bakery, pre-arranged to be there when you checkin, with perhaps some flowers and champagne. :lovestruc

There is also a special Cinderella Slipper dessert that is available at some of the restaurants, but this may have to be pre-ordered.

I was just on the Gifts of a Lifetime website, and think that it is so cool!!

We are going to WDW on our Honeymoon, as well, and I am thinking of having one of those 'Romantic Nights' boxes delivered to our room, as well as the Bride and Groom ears. I wish I could do more for it, but we are already spending SO much money. So I suggest, use Gift of a Lifetime, but pick something you can afford. There are GREAT options, but if you're on a budget, something little goes a long way, especially after the wedding.

Where are you all staying? Did you do a package? If so, an expensive dinner may be included in it, so you could spend more on the surprise. We got the Gold Add-on, and all of our meals are included!! Good luck, and let us know what you do!!:wave2:

I'm just a wanna-be Disney Princess at heart! princess:

i proposed to my fiance at citricos at GF last week. it was a very romantic, memorable event. i called the manager in advance and he was more than helpful and took care of all the details in making it a big surprise. they definitely know how to sprinkle the pixie dust there! might want to consider a dinner there during WISHES.

Book a massage at the Grand Flordian.:bounce:

POR and FW offer horse and carriage rides. They are $30 for 30 minutes. I think if you time it right that you could watch WISHES or the Electric Water Parade. You could also arrange for champaine and chocolates, I think. It would be very romantic, IMO. Just a thought. Have fun and congrats!!
