Support group for us no pin people!?

Good luck to us Pinless folks today! Hopefully something good will happen today, because I'm starting to feel sort of down about the whole thing...:sad2: I feel like I've tried everything.

o.K... I deleted all my itineraries from my 4 email addresses this morning. That will show that mouse and those princesses who is boss;). Now I plan to go on the other computer and create a new or may be 2 emails. God knows my husband is not in the office googling Disney. There shouldn't be any cookies or other things attached to that computer

With the new accounts I create... does everything have to be real.... like my real name and birthdate etc? I have always entered it correctly since Disney always wants to know how old everyone is etc. Or could this be part of my problem that I am in their system 4 times???

I would think that it would have to be real since these pins are not tradeable. I am not sure you'd be able to pay for with the credit card in your real name, with your Id with your real name.. if you booked a vacation plan under a fake name?

Agree. If you put a fake name you won't be able to use the pin. I have eight emails now set up in their system and I'm still getting emails from them.

Will I be able to apply the code to all three rooms (IF I get one) I actually paid his deposit with my card, and he wrote me a check. I don't know if that helps at all...

Yes. Don't worry about birthdays etc, lots of people share them.
But you could do a hyphenated name. Your maiden-married name
or you can add your middle name to your first name in the first name field
( I did ) I don't really think that made a difference though to tell you the truth.

I honestly think that the survey part is key and the itinerary part.

I deleted all of my saved offers and left just one itinerary, then I shopped a bit and X'd out rather than logging out OR closing the file, within ten seconds a survey pops up and asks why you did not book. I said not a good value and left comments in the box provided.

On all three accounts I got pins within less than three days.

You can book up to three rooms on the pin.

Additionally, he can call and make his own payments, he needs the GG # and the reservation number should be ( and can be legally ) in his name, so it takes the pressure of the money part, just less for you to do!
We have a GG and the other party is making all their own payments!

I did have 14 accounts and emails on the go also ( I did say perseverance ) But the three gmails I made Thursday and Friday through Disney Parks were the only ones to receive PINS, I know 14 is over the top, but I dont care, it saved me loads of money... you gotta do what you gotta do!

I got the 20/30/40 pin! Yay, unfortunately it's a call only one, can anyone tell me what time their lines open and close?

To price it, do I just get a room only price on wdw.com and take the % off? And then hope that the room I'm after is available?

After all the work you did to get it I would call and make them work!
And when you do call ask if it a room only discount or a package discount
right off the bat!
(( If you want to play around before you call, yes, try room only and take off 40% and try packages and take off 40%, then there is taxes and vacation insurance too ))

jgallant -- So just clarifying. You got the White Rabbit pin and then when you called you asked "Is the discount just on the room?" and they said No, it is off of everything?

Cause if that is true and they only do it if you ask, I wonder if I should call back and ask. I have a white rabbit and they are just giving it off of my room, like I thought it was supposed to be. Hmmmm.....

When I called I was very nervous ( dont know why!!! ) and excited.
I asked if it was a room only discount or a package discount.
He said he would check to see what kind of PIN offer it was.
He came back and told me it was for everything.
I asked again to clarify, and I even said that I thought he was wrong.
He said in fact, if I decided to add dining it would be 40% off also.
He called it double dipping... now being a disney veteran I KNOW you cannot double up on discounts or promos so I took it with a grain of salt, I was more than happy with what I got. He had to transfer me to GG because of our party size, before transferring me he told me to write down this code
"ABC" ( not actually but it was three letters ), and tell the other CM the code.
I got transferred gave her the code and asked her what the code was for, without giving her any details of what he had said. She told me the same.
It was a code for 40% off everything. She was more excited than I was I think, she said she is so happy to be able to book these kinds of offers for people! She was a true Disney lover at heart! She was amazing, she was all yelling and screaming and excited, had to hold the phone away and I could hardly understand her at times. And I was pretty sick at that point, it was just getting worse...

BUT WHEN YOU CALL WITH YOUR PINS....

ASK IS IT A ROOM ONLY DISCOUNT OR A PACKAGE DISCOUNT!
That's it. That's all I did.

I have 3 gmail accounts and 1 comcast account and none of them got the PIN. The yahoo one I opened for my DD is the one I got the PIN for. I couldn't believe it actually came to that account. The weird thing is when I called and gave the CM my name, my email was changed from gmail to the yahoo one so they did link the PIN to my name even though it was under my DD's name. Very confusing.

I would so LOVE to get this PIN. That would help tremendously. When I called, I didn't ask if it was for a room only or package.

Bummer! So I called to ask if it was room only or package, and she said almost always they are room only, but asked me for my pin. She said mine was room only. Oh well!


I did call back CS to ask if I had anymore pins I didn't know about. She said I had one coming, but she couldn't tell me what it was. It just looked like it was late in the year.. so it's likely the same thing.

BUT the CS lady I talked to did tell me that if I got a better code, or a different code, I could always call back to make sure that it wasn't more discounted. ;)

I just got an email (1 hour ago) from Disney Destinations about exploring my hotel... I assume I just keep waiting and HOPEFULLY some more emails will follow?! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:
 
I got it I got it I got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so heres what I did to get the pin..........................

1. Made a new gmail acct with all of my information
2. Made an itinerary stating I was staying at a non disney hotel and I would buy tickets when I arrived
3. I priced out all of the deluxe hotels I was interested in
4. saved each offer for 24 hrs(saved on tuesday)
5. Deleted all offers (on wednesday)
6. Put under my accomidations I was staying at sharaton vistana villas
7. signed off of disney
8. Recieved pin code today at 11:42 est

The folloing are the emails I recieved from disney
April 15th: a welcome email from disney for creating the acct
April 16th: an email telling me about the upcoming events in disney world
April 23rd: the disney letterhead email
April 26th: the email about the 2 current deals
April 27th: The explore your resort picks email
April 28th: The little white rabbit!!!!!!!

Good luck to all of you!!! I was so desperate and all but had given up. Then bam disney made my day! I even posted today that I had done it all and after today I was giving up(did I mean it? prob not lol but I can make empty threats right?). This whole thing took almost 2 weeks so hang in there! I think what triggers it is the saved offer then delete the offer after a day or so! I had recieved the FD pin for the summer and I think the only reason I got that one was I was pricing out a may trip and saved an offer. I was trying to talk dh into going in may, but he said no so I deleted the offer after a few days. I wasnt even trying to get a pin it just happened and that is the only connection I can make.
