Support group for us no pin people!?

Just when I thought all hope was lost...

I got all excited and ran straight to all seven of my email accounts and lo and behold in one of them was an email from Disney Destinations. Unfortunately, it was not a rabbit, but the "Explore your resort" one. Is that a good sign? It's the first time I received it. I think that's the account that I deleted my itineraries from yesterday.

Yep, another disappointing day here too. I got emails from Disney Destinations on five of my ten accounts. Guess what they were offering me? The same exact offer that anyone can get by going to the Disney site and only until Aug 14. Booooooooooooooo! I need after Aug 14!

Last week I was convinced we will not go this year. Then, oddly, my knee injury began to feel a little better and I thought maybe, just maybe. So then when I saw the email from DDestinations and got my hopes up a little. Well, see, it's just not going to happen for me. It never has. Yeah, yeah, I know.

Anyhow, I'm giving up on pinning now. I will wait to see what the public offers are, free dining or whatever, and see how my knee is doing, and eventually decide yes or no... eventually.

But I am a bit bummed about not getting a pin and will be looking into spending way less time at Disney, if we do go, 'cause DD has her heart set on Harry Potter. Never been to Universal, so would like to stay at the Hard Rock, most likely. And if not this year, next year for sure. Universal Harry Potter here we come. We don't need no stinkin' Disney pins. Did I just say that? That sour grapes taste in my mouth makes me feel pretty good about straying from the mouse... well a split-stray from the mouse anyway.

oh my gosh I just got that email about exploring my resort!!! So you got that email right before you got the pin email??? Please tell me this is a good sign for me!!!! I just talked DH into Doing GF or POLY or BW So this is so big to me!!! How long between emails? I got the explor your resort about an hr ago or so!!!

Well, thank you for the encouragement. I'll try to keep my chin up and think about only nice things, like funnel cakes or something. But I don't know... it's getting awfully depressing around here with all these celebrations.

We are going 8/22 to 9/4. We were hoping for free dining but with a pin code we can upgrade to a deluxe for a week. So excited as we have done AKL before and loved it and now we are going monorail!!!

oh my.... I just about jumped out of my computer chair. The new yahoo account I started last Tuesday got the general public email with the 2 different offers too. This is an email Disney NEVER had for anything until last Tuesday. When I saw the disney Destinations I was like YES!!! then when I opened it my computer heard a slew of bad words that I just won't post here.

Last Tuesday I started the Yahoo account and fidgeted with my other 3 accounts (yes, I am a rookie). I am not even sure how I left them DUH! They have been cooking all week as I have not touched any of them. Oh my, I don't know what to do! I feel like the nervous rabbit. Do I continue holding vigil or should I go in and delete an itinerary on some and show some activity! I am not sitting too bad. We have the 35% resort only (Beach Club) that was out last month, but I am a little greedy. I would love to take off a more since just my family (of 7) requires 2 rooms (Ouch!). My brother has a room also, and he would think I am all sorts of great

2) Thursday night I got an email from Disney destinations
a Mickey sorcerer one that said " conjure up your free vacation planning video .
I did that, but I waited until Friday to do it!
( playing hard to get , yeah right)!!!
3) constantly deleted cookies on computer, and always logged out of profile!
4) I used my other home ''U.S address'
5) got another email to view video , went back through the link, shopped around, did nothing , logged off.
6) today at work I logged onto that profile and noticed that I did not add my communication preferences on that account ! What?!
I promptly added it to say email!!!!
7) I saved a poly platinum package
8) finally ... I got the survey to work -at my work computer!
I said on the exit survey that it was not a good value.
That was at 10 or so am this morning

Then I started getting crazy emails on all Disney accounts I created randomly for the bibbidy bibbidy boo deal ( the general public one )
very sad, I too wanted to break something, or some mouse!
And within minutes I got the rabbit!
And an HOUR later, AFTER the pin email I got the explore your favorite resort on the same account.

wait a day or so to update your commjnicatin preferences, I can't believe I didn't do this at the start , but it MIGHT have helped...
