My friend is at SSR resort right now and they are telling her she needs to supply her own TP. Is this true? Never happened to me and I was at AKL as recently as January. Also at BWV in January.

I called ms. They called SSR. Housekeeping is now bringing her tp. I’m arriving there on Thursday and didn’t want to get caught off guard.

But if you want decent quality toilet paper, you might want to bring your own. The stuff they supply is akin to the paper they wrap around the new shoes in the shoe box.

I always want to bring my Charmin TP but didn't know if Disney's plumbing could handle a different type of TP. Note that I have no idea if that is even a problem lol.

When I had an owners locker, there was some in there for that reason!

That sounds ridiculous. I'd call housekeeping and ask for more. Why punish the guest who didn't get properly restocked (been there!) or who caught the green apple two-step.

I am just imaging the meeting of higher level Disney execs discussing further budget cuts and one of the items on the list for discussion is to take away TP. I can see the investigative report now that is handed out at the meeting discussing how providing it may not be necessary, a concept probably tested and verified.

She did. Spoke with a housekeeping manager and it was a hard no. Once I called ms to enquire, she was sent the tp and told if there was any further trouble to get a manager at the front desk.

I know the tp is lousy. I’ve suggested to dh that we bring our own, but he refuses to supply his own while there. Tp is one of the things I look forward to about getting home.

It's the new "industry standard" policy......
