Just read a post from someone who got an AP rate at BWV over Christmas. $349 for a 2 bedroom. For those who would like to see the per point rental go above $10, that's $6.98 per point weekdays direct from Disney ($7.75 if you include tax). If that rate applies Fri-Sat it's $3.29 per point. Disney wasn't kidding when they said they would be able to undercut anyone attempting to make money renting DVC.

Shoot, at that price it would be better for US to pay cash for the weekends than use points - $3.29 per point at Boardwalk would not even cover the dues on that point used !! If the room demand continues soft into the future I wonder how it might affect DVC usage patterns - I know that if I could get a good AP rate at a Disney or DVC resort during my stay there I would not use my points on the weekend. Pay a little cash one weekend, and save enough points for another trip.
