If high demand is such an issue for Ft. Wilderness, why doesn't Disney just expand it? Does anyone know of any plans to create more sites?

I cannot for the life of me find where I read it but I read somewhere that a bus driver told someone that they were expanding Fort Wilderness.

I was thinking it was Intercot but I cannot find it. So don't quote me. The certainly have plenty of room. The way the RV industry is booming, you would think that they would expand.

We were told by a bus driver in March that they would be expanding the campground in the next five years. We wrote to WDW Customer Service and they called back but would neither confirm or deny this. THe driver said that after the last hurricane that they discovered while cleaning up the fallen trees that alot of land that they thought was undevelopable actually is. So we are hoping that the rumour is true.
