Supplies at BWV

Hi

I've only been to BWV once, this past May I stayed in a one bedroom. There were packets of soap for the dishwasher under the sink in a cabinet. But when I look at a listing of what's in a DVC kitchen (on allearsnet.com) dishwasher soap is not on the list, so I'm not sure if a previous guest left it there, or it's normally supplied and just not on the list I saw.

Laundry soap isn't on the list either, and for the life of me I cannot remember if there was laundry soap supplied. I had some sample packets of my own that I brought last time, but I THINK I recall seeing a couple of small boxes of detergent.

I'm going back to BWV in September (66 days woohoo!!) Can someone please tell me if dishwasher soap and/or laundry soap is part of the standard supply at BWV? And does anyone know of any other listing of BWV supplies other than the allears one?

Dishwasher soap is provided but laundry detergent is not. They give you a starter box of detergent. After that you are on your own. If you don't have enough dish soap, call hosekeeping and they will bring you more.

I'd suggest doing a search on this board. There have been some posts about this topic.

I did the search, only found a couple of helpful threads (must be the wrong search words I am using, most of the "hits" were not what I was looking for.

I did find one helpful post that referred me to the member's guide. Page 24 of the guide I just received as a new member has a listing of supplies--but they don't list dishwasher soap, so I guess since Cat said there IS dishwasher soap the list is not complete.

I'll keep looking, but if anyone knows of a more thorough list I'd be eternally grateful if you'd share it.

Just returned from BWV- There are several packets of diswasher deterg under the sick- enough for one load per day. One bottle of dish soap (they give you another on T& T day) and one starter box of laundry soap.

Also inside one of the cupboards there is a list of items that are provided in the unit and additional items available upon request or for purchase. I was shocked at how many kitchen items were missing from my kitchen. I had already gone to the grocery store and puchased food. I could not find any type of baking sheet or cookie sheet to cook fries (thats all my kids eat). Its on "the list" so I called housekeeping and they sounded annoyed but brought me one later on. There was blue gum stuck to the bottom of it so I scrubbed it. Was not too thrilled with housekeeping on this trip.
