Good News. I have just heard that Superstar Limo ride in California Adventure is going to be replaced with a Monster's Inc. ride to debut in 2007.

Superstar Limo was one of the worst rides ever conceived--a limo ride through Hollywood with audioanimatronic versions of many celebrities. It was loud, the audioanimatronic celebrities were creepy looking (esp Cindy Crawford's--scary) and it didn't last long at all (thank goodness).

They are starting work on the building--the Superstar Limo facade has been taken off or painted over with primer (can't tell which).

It was not one of Disney's good attractions and who knows what they were thinking during the imagineering process. I never thought it was horrible but it was really odd and uncompelling. Here is alink with a description and photos.

With a name like Superstar Limo, you would have thought it would be more like RnR, now there is a ride I would like to see at DCA! DS once said while watching the "door chase" scene in Monsters Inc., "they should have a ride like that at Disneyland!" I wonder if that is what it will be like?

unfortunately this will be an overlay onto an existing ride. Even if done well it would be a solid c type dark ride. I like C rides, don't get me wrong......I just don't want you to be dissapointed!
