Hi Guys

i have a quick question:

I have booked superhshuttle online and they have given me the pick up time and of course date of pick up but do i still need to call them and confirm the time the day before?

I am consider using them on my next trip, do you have to pre-paid them?

We used Supershuttle on our June 11-21 trip last month. I called to make our reservation (could have used the website, but I had a question)--was offered a discount if I prepaid (I think it was 4-5$ cheaper each way). Don't quote me because I can't remember the exact amount, but I believe it was $34 roundtrip for myself and DD10 from Santa Ana/John Wayne Airport to our hotel on Harbor.

I had planned to call them the day before our departure to confirm our reservation, but they called me first (was an automated call, just like the reservation person said they would). And I believe they called the morning of our departure when they were about 15 minutes away from us to let us know they were on the way.

Had great service--this was our first time with them and would definitely use them again.

Well i have an international cell so i doubt they will call me.

We prepaid on the website which is easy for us as we are in Australia and gives us one less thing to do when we arrive in the USA

We used super shuttle on our last trip. They did give us a call on the night before. They also called to tell us they were running late. The ride was easy to find (at the airport) and very convenient.

We had a pretty bad experience with Super Shuttle that I detailed in another post.

Since that time, I found this resource, which is really helpful:

Last time, we used Shuttle2LAX.com. They assigned us to Prime Time Shuttle and everything worked out good.

We booked over the phone and prepaid and did get a discount. I also cannot remember how much it was either. I think they normally give it online, but I couldn't get the online site to work. Pretty sure it was me too...not sure what I was doing wrong.

My question: How much time would you allow from the Grand Ca. to John Wayne airport for a 10:30 am flight? I did book the shuttle so it was just us on the shuttle so no stops.
