supersavers still out there

Yeaaaa! It ends on October 8th. We get there the 20th.:sad1:

The Super Savings deal has been around for a long time and probably will continue after October. They just seem to have changed the name a bit with the book 3 get two free, blah blah blah. However, October is a very expensive month because of the Hallowe'en festivities and deals are very tough to find. Can you go in September. There are great Super Savings rates available then. Also, the new rates for late fall aren't out yet. You may want to wait until then.

I have a question.....I already booked my rooms at the RPH back in November, for March 16-18 (just 2 nights)....do I qualify for a "super saver"? I'm not sure what that is. Also, if I do, should I call reservations back and will they change my rate?

Advice please!

The saver rates is basically the 4/3 deal they told me it works out to be 49% off.

And yes call back and ask for a rate adjustment--the supersaver rate or I always just tell them to look for the best deal you can find. They are also handing out the $150 coupon booklet.

You have to book a minimum of 3 nights to get the super savings rates. The rate varies depending on how many days you book. The more you book, the better the rate.

Damo is right you have to book at least 3 nights to get super saver rates but great deal anyway cause we normaly pay $207 a night with AAA in june for RPR and this year went with super saver rate and are only paying $152 a night

I would go in September if I had the chance but the only weekend that is doable is Columbus Day Weekend in October. I tried calling Loews Hotels for a group rate (I'm coming with a large group) and seeing if they'll give me a good price.

Hi Lawerence, i got the SS rate as well, some good news ,works out at $144 a night as the $152 is the price for Fri and Sat stay and $140 for the other days, so bit extra in your wallet.

Do you automatically qualify to get the $150 coupon booklet if you booked a room with supersaver rate? I booked a room with the 4/3 deal, but they didn't say anything to me about a coupon booklet.

When I adjusted my ressie from APH rate to SS, the TM never mentioned the $150 booklet, but here's what it says on the confirmation email I received:

Super Savings Promotion. Stay 4 nights and save up to 30% the room rate per night! Stays of 4 nights or longer and TRAVEL by 3/31/09 to receive a Universal Orlando Savings Guide. PRESENT THIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT & ASK FOR THE SAVINGS GUIDE UPON CHECKIN. One guide per reservation. This offer is not combinable with other discounts or offers.

I'm not travelling until Aug, so I guess I don't qualify for the coupon booklet.

When I just checked friday evening for dates Aug 11 -19 they told me I would still get the book.

We're going 8/24-8/31. I wonder if we will be eligible for the book then.
Maybe I should call and ask. Which number did you call? Was it the number from Loews website or Universal website?

I called the one on the Universal website, but ended up being transferred to the rooms only #. Sorry I don't have it--I've tossed it.
