So I though I would start a thread about supernatural experiences people have had, from deja vu, to ghost stuff. I personally do not believe in ghosts, but I have had strange feelings towards things. I feel very strongly drawn to places I have never been before, and have even had a dream where I was in another time period. I later looked up that time period, and saw the place I was in my dream, even though I had never seen or heard of the loaction. I have deja vu all the time, and can predict in a string of events what I am going to say or do before I do it. It's hard to explain how that happens. I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever felt things like this before, as I find it cool. :surfweb:

I think I've had dreams of stuff that's happened in the future...kind of weird, but yeah it happens. Not sure if that's deja vu, but it's 1:30 in the morning, and I'm too lazy to look it up :lmao:

Anyways, I believe in ghosts but have never really had any experiences...

I have deja vu all the time! Once which is a really stupid example is I had a dream that my family and I were at Old Navy. And am I the only one that remembers this but Old Navy use to have an old pickup truck with a dog sitting in it in every store. Well my brother opened the door in my dream. Then the next day without knowing it the day before my family and I went to Old Navy and then my brother opened the door. Haha I know it is a stupid explanation but that is the only vivid one I remember. It isnt that interesting though.

The problem with déjà vu is that once you know about it, you always have it!

It is a special type of psychological condition (I forget the proper term for it) but it is part of a group of different phenomena where if you have read about it or have had it explained to you or something like that, it becomes far more common for you to experience it :)

As for any supernatural experiences I've had, I don't think I've had any sadly lol

Oh, I've got an extremely odd deja vu experience.

When I was little, I had a dream where my family was driving late at night alongside a mountain, and suddenly we passed this U.F.O.

Summer of 2009, we're driving to Tennessee and it's really dark out. As we're driving through Chattanooga, we end up driving on a mountain.

At one point we passed this.

Yeah. :scared:

Well I also have had dreams where things happen EXACTLY how they do and I have had multible experiances in the same day after dreaming them the night before.

once, i said that mary-kate olsen uses her left hand to do a thumbs up, and ashley olsen uses her right hand for her thumbs up. later on i saw a quick fact on tv before full house and it said that exact thing.

I CAN SEE THE FUTURE.

Once I predicted that I would get butter on my popcorn at the movies, instead I got caramel.

One night when I was 11 or 12-ish I had a dream where I was walking with friends through this building, and suddenly a fire started and and a suicide bomber detonated a bomb. A few days later, the friends in my dream got into a big argument and from then on, they haven't been friends.

Premonition? I think so.

I've had lots of deja vu.

Also a lot of times i feel like I've already done this exact thing sometime in the past. But I never have.

I have had Deja vu before, as far as supernatural, well nothing that stands out. But sometimes I feel like I'm not alone and there is someone behind me, and feel like I need to look back to make sure no ones there... It FREAKS me out completely...

I have lots of deja vu moments. There're lots of times when I have a deja vu of what I'm gonna do and it happens.
I have lots of creepy dreams as well that keep on repeating.
There's this one time in the car when I was looking out of the window and I saw these flowers. The wind was blowing and in my mind I was trying to make the wind go away... and it did. Then I tried it again, to make the wind come... it did. I did it a few times and when I was about to tell my parents, it didn't work.... It's really creepy. I bet you all don't believe me and you think I'm making this up but I'm not.... It's why I didn't want to tell my parents.

I believe you. There are some things about the human mind that we will never understand. So I had a dream that I was walking along a river bank and came across a boy about my age, and I felt all excited, so I asked him if he remembered me. He said he didn't and I felt all scared that he didn't. Then my friend (she didn't look like herself) came along with this other guy and the guy said, "Oh don't worry, he'll come around eventually." It was very weird because I woke up, and their names came to mind, even though I know no one with those names. Then I fell back asleep (I was barely even awake) and I was back at the river bank. I had the feeling that the river site was a gold dig site, so I looked up sights of gold rushes in the 1910-1920's (because I had a feeling it was around the time of the Titanic sinking) , and when I clicked on a link about Bonanza Creek, and it was the exact site of my dream. One of the things that stood out about the dream was the fact that the river ran a muddy orange color, so I though maybe it was the Amazon, but Bonanza Creek runs orange in that one picture.

This is the river. It looked just like this in my dream, from the trees, to the gravely shore, to the weeds. But I had never seen or even heard of this site before my dream.

A lot of my dreams come true. Its weird. When I read the Percy Jackson books a few years back everyone said that I was "destined to be an Oracle." Haha. I'm not so sure. But...my dreams started to get so creepy that I made a journal of them. In a 30 day period, I had 26 dreams written down. 17 of which came true in some way or form. Ex: I had a dream, that I had just seen the Ark (Indiana Jones) and my nose just started gushing out blood until I finally died from loss of blood. The next day, I was at HS on the Great Movie Ride in the Indiana Jones scene and I had a nosebleed. The first one I'd had in 6 years!! Another time, I had a dream when I was 7 that my aunt and uncle had a bouncing place with inflatables and such for little kids. Well, one kid was killed in a freak accident in one of the inflatables and my uncle and aunt had to go to jail. Well, on Labor Day they are having the grand opening of their new bounce place. I'm so nervous about it!!!! Anytime I have a nightmare, I'm so afraid that it'll come true. The scary part is a lot of my dreams have hidden meanings, so I'll spend days trying to figure it out, but it will come true before I can tell someone. So, later on when I say "I had a dream about that" people just think I want attention. One of my friends calls me Jez (from Kingdom Keepers) cuz she has that same dream problem.

Once at the Norton-Simmon Museum in Pasadena, I looked at a very well painted portrait of Jesus and I got the most unnerving feeling. It's eyes seemed to look through my skull and stare at me at the same time. It was'nt that the painting itself was scary or intimidating, it was the bizarre and terrifing feeling that I got. I wasn't sure whether to write this down or not. It sure felt supernatural, it was like nothing I ever felt. That was the only painting of Jesus or anything for that matter that made me feel fear for my life!

That can be explained by a phenomenon called infrasound. It's a sound wave that is below the hearing level of humans, and because it is so low, it causes a feeling a fear and anxiety among humans. It can be caused by many things, including fans.
