Hi,

We are staying at OKW 22nd Oct-5th Nov 2010.

We wanted to be able to get Beers, wine and some basics for the room. As we choose not to drive I wondered what the best supermarket to go to was and the likely cost of a taxi. (on our last trip we use to walk to the Hess garage as $13 for 18 cans Bud was much cheaper than $5.50 from the hotel bar!).

We wanted to get some breakfast essentials as well eggs, bread, cereal etc..

Thanks in advance for help!

There is a thread on here near the top of the page about Walmart. You may find the items you are looking for. Someone has even been kind enough to post estimated taxi fares. :goodvibes

I just saw that - must have been blind lol!!

What a silly fool I am!

No, I had just posted on it and it was further down the page at the time, so don't worry. If you still don't have your answer though, feel free to ask away. :goodvibes

Just a thought.

If your not planning on Driving and dont want to waste to much time going to the supermarket, have you thought about booking a delivery with Gardengrocer?

We normally stay at SSR and order a delivery for the day of our arrival. Bell Service at Disney are fantastic and 9 times out of 10 all your items will be in your rooim for when you get there:thumbsup2

Admittedly there is a delivery charge, but well worth it imao.

Just to point out, if you do require beers etc you must email them with your order of your requirements for alcohol as its not opening available to "put in your shopping basket".
