Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

The Salmon Polenta is like heaven on earth. It is that good. If I remember right, I was actually making mmmm noises while eating it was that good. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I'm so glad you are eating there, I really think you are going to love it. Especially since you love the Hollywood Glamour like me! :goodvibes

I wish I could put into words how much I am looking forward to that meal! :goodvibes

Yummy!!!

I love pretzel rods from Goofy's!!

I am going to have to try the crab cakes at Kona, we are planning to eat there in August. I love Brown Derby, and now I am wishing I had tried the Cobb Salad-Yummo!

Im going to have to find something to eat now.:worship:

Just catching up. Your bear is so cute and such a wonderful gift. I love how they used the lining for the paws, very classy touch!

My aunt had a rabbit coat that she did a similar thing with. All the nieces and nephews now have a little stuffed rabbit from aunt Sandy

I had never had Polenta before either but I fell in love with it down there, now Marc makes it at home. So delicious and so easy to make!
Is it more like grits than mashed potatoes? Is it normally flavored, like cheese? I guess I'm having a hard time...you may need to do one of your LL descriptions like you did with the school bread ;)

I am tempted to get you to describe random food items just so I can enjoy your descriptions, LL! :rotfl:

I agree! These food lists are getting me totally in the mood and totally ready to eat my way around the world! :lmao: That kinda works if you are in Epcot!!! :rotfl: So Fish and Chips we have never had, and they do look yummy! Both my DS LOVE fish and chips... And can you believe I have NEVER been to Goofy's? Never knew the amazing concoctions existed! Pretzel rods? Cookies? all of these things dipped in chocolate and the like?!

Can't wait to see it and taste it! :yay:

The cobb salad was delicious but I do hope to try a different appetizer this time around, just because so many of them sound so yummy!

Polenta is corn meal basically, and you use milk, cream or cheese to make them more like mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes are like my favorite thing EVER so Polenta is like heaven to me. I think it depends on how you prepare them if they turn out more grit like or more mashed potato like if that makes sense. Marc makes this wonderful meal now, BBQ Chicken with Polenta. Sadly, I don't have food porn but I will take a pic next time he makes it. He makes the polenta with chicken bouillon and water lately with a little bit of sugar. I like it when he makes it with milk or cream or marcapone cheese a little bit more. ANYHOO, he cooks water chestnuts and mushrooms in a separate pan with butter, salt & pepper. He shreds the chicken and puts the bbq sauce on it. He then puts the polenta on the plate, then the mushrooms and water chestnuts, then gorgonzola cheese :lovestruc then the bbq chicken and on top of the chicken diced green onions. It is so delicious. He came up with it on his own too, my mom was super impressed when she had it while she was visiting.

I am tempted to get you to describe random food items just so I can enjoy your descriptions, LL! :rotfl:
As you can see, I can describe random food items. :lmao: I should be a food critic!

It's really good, he comes up with some really yummy things and I'm very grateful for that. :thumbsup2 His goal is to open some kind of restaurant that will be featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Hehehe, he's really cute sometimes.

How did I fall so behind? :confused3

Well first off, I love the teddy bear. What a beautiful way to remember your grandmother. Did you settle on Zella as a name? I think that is perfect!

Love your MK lists. I am enamored with the shop after Pirates too. There's just something about it! I also hope to ride HM with Jen sometime to get her perspective. And COP is a favorite too! ::yes::

Love the Epcot lists too...we're going to get along just fine! ;) Fish and chips. :thumbsup2 Soarin. :thumbsup2

Thank goodness you gave the Cobb Salad its due with a picture. I'm sure the salmon is good but the salad? :cloud9: I am salivating at my next opportunity to eat there in Sept! :hyper:

Chocolate mousse from Le Cellier. :faint: You are doing wonders for my diet. :rolleyes1

You saw the disclaimer up there, you can't blame me, that disclaimer makes me not guilty of any of your ADR changes. Hehehe. I crack myself up! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I've never had polenta before but it sounds yummy. For whatever reason I always thought it to be some kind of rice pudding-like concoction. Didn't sound appetizing but the way you describe it sounds good! :thumbsup2

Wow! That was a great food list! I have started my own food list of foods I need to try. I agree that Epcot is the best place to eat. There are so many choices!
