Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

Going along with the entire 72 Hours thing...right now 72 hours from now we will have just gotten done watching Illuminations and leisurely walking ourselves back through FW to the parking lot and possibly riding SE one more time before leaving because the burning of Rome smell is bound to put me to sleep. We will have had a great first day...and will be heading to download your pictures and head to dream land!!!

Oh that should make for some very nice dreams tonight! See you less than 72 hours my Disney sister!

Yay! 72 hours!!

I can't believe it's almost here. I am so freaking excited! I can't wait to meet you, we are going to have such a fabulous time. You can never ride Spaceship Earth too many times! :goodvibes

Truer words have never been spoken...well except for you can't ride Haunted Mansion too many times LOL!! I really really love Spaceship Earth. I'm thinking of trying to find Jeremy Irons narration and on one ride listen to it...I think that is my favorite one of all time...he did such a great job not that I don't like the new one but his has a special place in my heart!

I got to talk Disney transportation today at school. One of my former students is going to be there with his family on Sunday. I was talking with his mom, and she wanted to know if they were going to have to show their Magical Express cards on the buses every time they got on to go to the parks. She didn't understand how to find the bus stops, etc. at All Star Music, and she had a few questions. I begrudgingly (NOT) gave up my time to give her all the facts.

I also gave her two younger girls Snow White notebooks and travel journals I had fixed for them, and I gave Jason some Disney dollars to spend when he gets there in the arcade or on food or whatever he wants. He has been keeping me posted on their countdown regularly, and they're all bouncing with excitement.

Their mom says she just knows they're going to be hooked after the trip. I hope they have a great time, so if you see Jason, give him a special Disney hello! You'll recognize him because he looks very smart. ;)

Or you might better recognize his dad, who has one of those mohawk hairstyles and a bunch of tatoos. :laughing: He's the most recognizable one in the family!

Oh I agree Jen! I love the old narration version and I miss that they took away those fiber options at the end, like when you're going backwards..I think now they do all the computer stuff during that part. You know what you could do...you can look it up on youtube, just try and find a video before the date that they changed it
Here's one from 2006, not sure how good it is ;)

I love doing the "ride alongs" to the youtube videos. Blake and my favorites is the Transit Authority...paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom-Morrow

Really? I used to live on the Palermo/China border on Route 3, so I was pretty close to Waterville. I also think the Weathervane in Waterville is the best one and I think I have been to almost all of them. :lmao:

I have never been to the Weathervane! I am one of those Mainers who do not like seafood.:scared1: My dh loves seafood and when we were dating I took him to Bar Harbor and we went out to eat. He ordered fresh lobster because he had never tried lobster. I was the one who had to tell him how to eat it. I knew how from watching my parents eat it. :rotfl: They used to get lobster all the time as my uncle is a lobster fisherman.

Hope your allergies start easing up for you before you leave. Mine always kick in about 3 days into my Disney vacation. I wake up one morning with a scratch throat and a clogged head. This year I'm determined to bring medicine with me, because I've learned the hard way they stock nothing that helps in the resort gift shops. I'm hoping this year I'll be saved by the fact I'm going in December and without anyone cranking the air conditioning.

48 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
:cool1::cool1::cool1:
:yay::yay:

I'm not sure if it is possible, but I think I could be more excited than you are! You are going to have such a great time!!! :goodvibes

Oh and we only have 2 days to fill 7 pages for you so we'd better get posting. Somehow I don't think that will be a problem. :rolleyes1

In an effort to do my part to get you to page 200 and because I'm so darn excited, I thought I'd share some requests with you. I reserve the right to add more later. :rolleyes1

* Order a glass of champagne and stroll around World Showcase. Repeat as necessary. ;)
* Investigate that Mickey bar bag and let us know how much it is. Think you can put something on hold until September? :laughing:
* Hug at least one character every day
* Savor every last bite at the Brown Derby
* Take exactly as many light fixture pictures as I guessed (whatever that was :confused3). ;) Just kidding, of course, take as many as your heart desires. Indulge the obsession!
* Enjoy meeting your long lost Disney sister and gnomie, Jen. I just know you two are going to have a fantastic time.
* Illuminations. That part when the narrator says we're gathered around the fire and then you hear the "whoosh" when they blow the torches out. Think of me. I get chills every time.
* Spend some quality time with Miss Mary Poppins. I'm sure you two have a lot to catch up on.
* Lots and LOTS of food porn. ::yes::

:):):):)

Anyone else have any requests?

I hope you feel better! :hug:

Your dream about the solar powered FP machines was hilarrrrrrrrrrious! I love all those pre-trip anxiety crazy thoughts/dreams. You know you aren't alone in those around here! :laughing:

Actually I would prefer if you only took 123 pics of light fixtures. Anything more than that is overkill!!! ;) :lmao:

Only two more days of pictures!! Can you believe it? The last day pic is pretty sad so I might have to do one of those "Where in Disney World" games again.

Hey....I'm up for that. Except you know my attention to detail is not always that great, so make them easy! OK?

Hope you are feeling better today. It's a perfect weather day here in the first state. Hope the weather is Mass is equally perfect! (Good weather always make me feel better). :flower3:

Wow - I just noticed you need 6 pages in less than 48 hours. Let's all get typing. NOW!

WOW... it is almost time! I hope you woke up better today.... and yea for the Where in WDW game again tomorrow... that was super fun! Get things finished up and you will be in WDW in just two days

I love talking Disney with people. I will be on the lookout for Jason and his mohawk-ed father. At the Wedding over the weekend, one of Marc's cousins came up to me and said, "So I've heard you like LOVE Disney." :rotfl: Yes. That is true.

I did a ride along on YouTube of Expedition Everest and Tower of Terror. I can tell you that I want to ride Expedition Everest but am even more scared of Tower of Terror. :lmao:

I love love love love Weathervane. YUM! Eating lobster is a very delicate process, I still have trouble sometimes. Especially the first lobster I eat every summer. :lmao:
