Superbowl Sunday crowds?

We went last year but didn't go in until evening/nighttime. I don't remember it being too busy but I do remember it being super cold that night!!

It figures my DH favorite team is playing in the Superbowl. Being at DCA he will miss it. GO Steelers!:cheer2:

he can sneak a peak at the grand california hotel. thats what we did during our lunch sunday 8 days ago. brought our lunch to the hotel from DCA and ate while we watched.

I don't really appreciate the snarky replies.... Yes, I did read through this OLDER thread. I was looking for more opinions than those who had ALREADY posted if that it permissible. Furthermore, I believe that I do know when the Superbowl is....it will be the weekend that we are going ....this weekend. Your replies were uncalled for and unnecessary but perhaps you feel better now having taken me to task.

Usually the Disboards are super friendly so what's up with you guys?

I apologize if I sounded condescending. It just sounded like from your first post that you were asking questions that were already being answered on the first page. Also, sorry for misconstruing what you meant by "this weekend". I read your post on Sunday, so I assumed you meant that day. I always get confused when I use "next" and others use "this"!

We went Superbowl Sunday in 2007 and honestly I thought it was pretty empty in the parks first thing in the morning and started to pick up after lunch. So if you get there for MM (EE) and collect fast passes through out the morning. You will be set for later in the day or evening.

I've been in the peak of summer and I didn't think it was as busy as then. It's not like it is a holiday or anything. But then again I also don't find summet crowds that bad either :confused3 . But I will never go over Christmas vacation though :)

How do you guys think the park will be Saturday? I'm going then and just want to know what to expect. Planned it totally forgetting the next day was the superbowl and I know I don't want to go that day.

I didn't mean to sound condescending in my response. I was surprised to see someone ask the same question that the OP did and received several responses (including my own). This it not an "older" thread. It's from this month and pertains to this upcoming Super Bowl. The information in it is relevant and current.
;)
