Superbowl Sunday crowds?

Does anyone know if the game has any effect on the crowds in Disneyland? I was thinking maybe the local attendance would be lower, but I was wondering if all of you out there who know more than I might know for sure?

If you go to DCA watch for my DH marching band. They are marching on Super Bowl Sunday.

I went Superbowl Sunday in 2007 and I think the crowds were worse then a regular Sunday.. I don't know about any other years though..

Crowds were heavy for Super Bowl Sunday in '06 too...

Crowds and sometimes 'adult fights' have broken out and words thrown depending on Jerseys that are being worn...

I have been 07 and 08.. It can get full and the people in DTD are in the ESPN zone and there are more tispy adults than usual.

Sorry it took so long to reply to this...I am having a hard time finding my own posts to see if they have had replies! Thank you for all your answers, and yes, the Superbowl is on Feb 1st.

Wow...I didn't expect it to be a busy day. Should I plan on like Spring busy or Summer busy?

Its on Feb 1 and the teams have not been decided yet. Still more playoffs.

The single busiest time I have ever seen it was on a Super Bowl Sunday. It was so crazy it took us over an hour to get tickets and get in line to just get in. Never again!!!

Yeah, we waited over 45 minutes for IASW... We waited over 45 minutes for the Storybook Canal Boat... it was incredibly crowded and we had no idea how to use fast pass yet.

We were there last super bowl Sunday and it was CRAZY busy and it was raining!!! It was very very busy!!
We are going again this year just because our AP's expire the next day. I am expecting it to be busy.

Inquiring minds still would like to know.... how is the park on Superbowl? On that day, when would it be the most busy? We are going this weekend and I had no idea that it was even the Superbowl......aaaaargh! Maybe if we do early entry that day and then leave during the middle of the day for a break and then come back.....but I am thinking that while the actual game is on that people might leave to watch it..... Opinions please?
