Super Why and The Super Readers

This is a show on PBS for preschool age kids. This is such an awesome show. My DD has learned so much from this show.

Anyone else have kids who just love this show?

I this show and Word World. DD3 would rather watch Dora or Diego.

Love SuperWhy!

When DS was 4, we'd hit a snag with transitioning from knowing his letters/sounds to learning sight words. I was sad to say that SuperWhy did what I was unable to do- it taught DS his first sight word. G-O spells GO, Mommy! Unstoppable since.

My kids loved Super Why, Word World and Word Girl. The writer of Word Girl is originally from our area and PBS did a huge day centered on it. They also did one for Super Why and Word World. My kids can't wait until they do it again they still talk about it 6 months later!

We watch Super Why every morning.

When is Word World on? I have never seen those other ones on tv. I see the toys in Target all the time but I think we are a little young for it!!

All DS watches is PBS. We watch Curious George, Super Why and Dragontales. He is currently in LOVE with the Curious George movie I DVR'd for him last week. I don't find him near as interested in any other shoes on Disney or even Seaseme Street. He likes the Elmo World DVD's but not the whole show!

ETA: We also watch Sid the Science Kid. THat seems like a really great show, a little old for DS but really seems good. I Like that Super Why does the alphabet all the time!
