Super Soap Weekend

My "work wife" is dragging me to Super Soap tomorrow.

I DONT WATCH SOAPS! Any idea of what kind of crowd will be there?


Oh well, maybe there will be some eye candy!

I went to that YEARS ago (1999!), and it was pretty entertaining to see them in person. You could stand in line and get autographs.

I did see Kelly Ripa, Susan Lucci, Josh Duhamel, Stephen Nichols, and Cameron Mathison. The crowds even waaay back then were enormous, but everyone was looking for autographs and not really visiting attractions.

I wonder how it is now?

Yeah I did.. At least recognize a couple of GH's there.. including Dr. Patrick Drake! (His TV dad is Dr. Noah Drake - aka Rick Springfield)

Only "personality" I recognized was Minnie Mouse. Looks like the weather was beautiful though -- and I really liked the sepia newsreel effect at the beginning.

Hey Mike that was a great job on the movie! I gave you 5 stars and a comment since you didnt have any comments yet! I saw one card I could read, john-paul somebody as Rex from something LOL , it seems alot of soap stars have hyphenated first names, wonder why that is? Does it sound more alluring? Sexy? Anyone?

Hmm..I was hoping for a little more eye candy, I mean sheesh, how hard is it to get a picture of Mickey?! *rolls eyes* Nice job though Mike, I liked the newsreel at the beginning, but the ending confused me, you talked about Susan Lucci, but after you showed her, the movie ended. I don't get it. Am I having a horrible blonde moment?!

Just getting near enough to get a photo of some of those people takes an act of congress! I've never seen so many crazed fans in my life!

And as one who doesn't watch soaps, it was all a big to me!

I could have told you that. You need a pair of metal boxers when it comes to the soaps male fans. If you're somewhat attractive, and you get in their sites, dear me....there can be limb loss there! Just look at what they've done for Cameron Matheson, they've kept him on Dancing With The Stars this long just to see how much tighter his pants can get....oh....wait....oh no, that's right I don't vote, I just oogle.
