I am seriously thinking of taking my 77 year old friend to SSW since she has never been (or to Disney for that matter). I know that renting a scooter during that time is going to be a nightmare. She really only needs it while in the park. She can walk from outside the park to the bus and in the hotel. But, since it's so busy during that time....maybe we should rent a scooter from an outside source so we have it the whole time we are there. I can't take the chance of getting into the park and having all of them rented already. Can you rent them at the hotels? Thank you for your help and suggestions.:goodvibes

If you rent from an outside company (listed in the FAQ). They will deliver it to the bell desk at your hotel. When checking in pick it up there. At the end of your vaction drop it off at the bell desk.

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including where people rent ECVs in Post #2.

Or, if you want an easier route, click on the link in my signature.

I would suggest coming a day earlier and running around Epcot for a few hours; it is the best place to gain experience with an ECV. The Studio will be very crowded on SSW, so having the practice day in advance will help a lot.

Thank you so much. Yes, we are going to Epcot on Friday and then SSW for Sat & Sun. We will try it out in Epcot just to be safe. Thanks again!
