Super shuttle to LAX

I'm booking my shuttle. It is asking when I want to be picked up from the hotel to be taken to the airport (LAX). Our flight is at 1:30pm on a friday, and I dont know how traffic will be. We have also never used LAX, so I'm worried about traffic and finding our way through a busy airport. Help!!! These are the options I have to be picked up. Which would be the best?

9:35-9:50am
9:50-10:05am
10:05-10:20am
10:20-10:35am

Virgin America. Yes we will have bags to check.

For terminal 3, you're probably ok leaving 2 1/2 hour early on a Friday, figuring 1 hour to get to LAX. But I'd do the 10:05-10:20, just in case the shuttle runs late.

finding our way through a busy airport

LAX is kind of different, in that once you check in, there isn't a huge variety of places to go. It's pretty straight forward as to where you go to find your airline. They have the terminals in what I think of as pods, so I find it hard to get lost.


I think it's odd that SS is giving you such a wide variety of times. I'm not sure I've seen 4 different choices like that before.

I'm planning on a July 2016 visit and was contemplating using SS but not the shared van, a "business van" that takes 4 passengers only (which is the size of our party). When figuring out the expense it seemed a better choice instead of Disneyland Express. Do you think I will need 2 or 3 hours for return, our itinerary is we return to LAX for a flight at 1:30pm, do you think 11:00am would be safe? We would be leaving on a Tuesday.

That's weird? Super shuttle always tells me what time they will pick me up, rather than giving me the option to choose. I don't fly through LAX though, so maybe that is the difference.

I doubt they'd do a pickup 2 hours before your flight. Shuttles and car services have a minimum amount of time before a flight that they'll do a pick up as policy.

I don't understand why they would care what time I want to get to the airport? I'm asking about what time the pick up from the hotel would be to check in on time. I just want to have time to go through security and I'm reading a lot about the traffic.
