Super Shuttle, Taxi or DL Resort Bus

Family of 5. Kids aged 10,7 and 5 from John Wayne. I was reading another post about waiting for the bus and I am not sure I want to do that.
Last time we did super shuttle and it was fine.

Opinions on which you prefer?

With five people, your cheapest (and quickest) bet is to take a taxi. The flat rate is around $35. (Make sure you ask for the flat rate up front)

From what I've heard, it's harder to get a flat rate negotiated on the return trip back to the airport, but people have done it. Even still, it would be cheaper than $9-12 a person like a shuttle would run you.

I'd also recommend taxi from LGB. You'll pay around the same flat rate as from SNA ($35-$38).

We go Super Shuttle and reserve the whole shuttle. You can get a designated shuttle so that you don't have to share with anyone else and you pay a flat rate of $47 each way for up to 7 passengers. For 5, it's about the same cost as sharing (actually $3 cheaper, as it's $10/pp to share) so that's what I'd recommend. You can get that info from the SuperShuttle website but you have to plug in all your dates and destinations and flight numbers first so I'm saving you that trouble . You can also get an exclusive van for up to 9 people for $67 each way. We've had excellent service with this system.
