Super Saver rate - check out early and still get same rate?

I currently have ressies at PBH for 3 nights at $258/night AAA rate (Portofino Suite upgraded from Garden view using Lowes Platinum). The Super Saver rate is the same for 3 nights, but it's $180 for 5 nights. So, I have two questions:

- Can I book the 5 night reservation and just leave after 3 nights (i.e check out early) and still get the lower rate?

- If so, can I use the Lowes Platinum upgrade with the Super Saver rate?

Yes you can do that if AAA does not charge a cancelation fee and yes you can still use your lowes platinum upgrade but I would check with AAA to see if you can cancel and then rebook for the supersaver.

So Portofino doesn't charge a fee or charge you for the extra nights if you leave early?

I don't think you will be able to leave 2 days early at the lower rate since thats what the lower rate is for by staying more nights.

There may be a penalty for checking out early since you are essentially canceling the last two nights with no notice. I'd check with the hotel first.

I don't think you will get the 5 day rate if you check out after 3 days. You do get the platinum upgrade with supersaver though.
