 I seem to have a mental block trying to figure out which days to visit which parks. Our trip is Tues. 8/29 10:35am thru Tues 9/5 3:55pm and we will be at POP. We have Hoppers but no water park option(yet??). We plan to go to parks all 8 days. DSs are 6/8/9 and this is our 1st trip, I have turned to every possible source(a millipn hrs on this board, UG, TGM) and I still can't figure it out. I can't believe there is no resource that says, "if you are staying a week these are the days to go to the parks and this is how to tour them". Please help!!!! :confused3

If you have TGM - go to his pages where he gives each park a red, yellow, or green rating for the particular days that you'll be there. I used his green days to plan which park for which days.

My kids wanted to see MK as soon as possible so that figured in as well.

Are you early risers...if so the Disneyworld website will list which park opens early and you can start from there.......if you are NOT early risers DONT go to that park that day.

Also, from experience, you might want to hold off on the Magic Kingdom. We did this on our first trip and went to Epcot first. We were nervous that after the Magic Kingdom our kids would not be too thrilled with Epcot.......whereas by bringing them there first they enjoyed it without comparing it to MK.

Did you sign up for your vacation club on Tour Guide Mike & visit the chat boards? People on these boards really helped me; just returned from our WDW trip & TGM was right on target! Need to dig in & read those articles first so you can approach it intelligently. I tried to figure it out first without reading the articles & later found my answers there!

I think you can overplan. You really can have a great vacation picking any of the parks to visit on any of the days.

I'm not saying there isn't a lot of good advice out there, just that your vacation won't be ruined if you pick the wrong park to visit. It might be ruined if you drive yourself crazy trying to figure this out.

If you've read everything (and it sounds like you have) and you still can't decide, here is what I would do. Head out for the busses. Whatever bus comesfirst , that's the park you go to.
