Super nice beach hotel/pool

Does anyone know of a really nice beach hotel within 2 hours of Disney World? We want to spend a few days at the beach in July. We really want something newer and modern with a great pool. I have been to the Ron Jon place in Cocoa beach and It was nice, but I didn't like the fact that pool is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. I would like a ocean front room and be close to the pool. It can be either side and doesn't have to have a kitchen, but can if that it the best. I do not like run down hotels or nice hotels that are showing their age.

disney's vero beach is about 2 hours away.

however I would go the other way - toward Tampa - lots of nice resorts to choose from.

I would be interested in this info too. I have looked into Vero Beach and would really like to go there but the weekend rate is too rich for my blood for this trip. I would also like to go to the east coast as it is on our way back north to home.

Does anyone know a good florida travel agent. I don't think dreams unlimited does anything outside of disney, right?
