My DW and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at the WL May 14 - 21. The trip was certifiably magical from check-in to departure 
.
Some highlights:
1) Rehitchin' Ceremony at the Garden Grill in The Land (EPCOT): Sam, our server, kept our plates full at lunch and when we finished, he rounded up Mickey, Pluto and a half dozen other servers to witness and participant in the rehitchin' ceremony. My DW and I exchange "vows" with Sam as the preacher. We had to kiss while everyone counted to 100 (1 to 10 by one's, then 10 to 100 by 10's). We had our picture taken with our "bridal" party, received a yummy cake (which was too much for 2 people) and a nifty certificate (suitable for framing). If you are celebrating an anniversary, ask about doing this ceremony at the Garden Grill. It's a hoot!
2) Illuminations Cruise: We thought we'd be sharing a boat with several couples, but Disney arranged a PRIVATE boat, filled with balloons. Our captain toured the lagoon around the Boardwalk/Yacht/Beach club area before docking at EPCOT. We had a wonderful fruit/dessert tray and after Illuminations, our captain got us over to Disney/MGM in time for the closing fireworks display at Fantasmic! After that it was a slow ride back to the marina while my DW and I enjoyed the ride.
3) Strawberries and Cream: At WL, we stayed on the Concierge floor. One evening Randall (one of the concierge staff) sent us a huge plate of fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was a wonderful surprise.
There is so much more to share... needless to say, we felt the magic every minute of every day.
My recommendation is: make sure the Disney CMs know you are celebrating a special event, be it birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc. We noted that most, if not all, went out of their way to share the magic with us. We felt very special indeed!
