Well we leave in just a little more then 3 months :banana::banana: Were doing DC/Seaworld this will be our first to DC all we need now is a nice but Cheap, safe and clean hotel to stay in if any have suggestions please pass them our way!!!!!

I'd love to help, but need you to define cheap.

We're staying at Marriott's Harbour Lake soon, which is less than 2 miles away from SW. It is a Marriott timeshare, and since we booked a full 2 bedroom condo, we'll have a full kitchen (and washer/dryer!). It isn't super cheap, but they do often have special packages you can find at Marriott's website. We got a deal through Interval International on their getaways, which are prepaid full weeks (kind of like leftovers that they have inventory of), but you have to have an account with II to book these (and book it as soon as you find something you want, as once they are gone, they're gone (but they are not refundable).

You can often find deals if you're willing to sit through a timeshare presentation at the many nice ones in the area.

You can also try priceline, but I'd get some idea of what are winning bids at a priceline forum (like better bidding I think, you can google them).

Good luck!!!

thank you for the advice i'll look in to those and as far as cheap i would like to stay under 100night

I just checked (okay I've got nothing to do while I drink my coffee this morning!) out of curiousity. I saw a Fairfield Inn & Suites right near Seaworld which looks really nice! They have a 2 room suite with a king bed and sofa sleeper, and it has a nice little outdoor pool. I checked tripadvisor as well - I'd definitely look into it! Note: I always start with Marriott since my husband uses their brand with his travels (so we are accumulating points for a future vacation), so I'm sure there are a hundred other options. This one just looked like a nice one, and it was a little over $100 a night for the suite (which I'd go with, as it's nice to have the sitting area). I think it's a newer hotel too.

Oh, and if you want to leave your car there, they indicate free shuttles to Seaworld.

PS: We had two awesome lunches in the area last year: one at an Outback Steakhouse (and I never was a fan of steaks or that place till that meal) and one at a Cracker Barrell (never been before, as I thought it was kind of icky sounding, well it was really great!). Both were so much less $$ than anything at the theme parks - like I think $8 or $9 for my son to have a huge steak meal at Cracker Barrell. Totally recommend if you drive by them to try either one!

Thanks for all the info Thats Why I Love This Site everyone is always sooo willing to help:flower3:

If you really want to save some money you can stay at Clarion LBV on Palm Pkwy. Clean, nice & reasonable as in $45 per night on bookit.com. I stayed there in November and it was very nice for what I paid. The rooms have been recently renovated and I was pretty impressed because I am pretty picky about where I stay. It's on Palm Pkwy four miles from Seaworld, so very close.
