Super early easter april 19, 2014 fantasy cruise!

Its our first cruise there too Mary. I've been eyeing the champagne catamaran tour for St Thomas/St John but have no inkling yet for St Maarten. I've read great reviews for Bernards tours though.

We did the Champagne Cat last year and really liked it. The only downside is the "taxi" ride to the other side of StThomas to get to the boat, I think it took about 45 minutes each way.

We did the Champagne Catamaran excursion when we were on the Fantasy this March and really enjoyed it. We also found the taxi ride to be a bit long, especially on the way there because we got stuck in some traffic. We all loved the ride over to St. John, but I was glad I had taken Bonine that morning and insisted that DD take hers (I still have a small stash of the children's version). The ride was quite bumpy, and a few people were feeling quite ill.

This time around we are planning to stay on St. Thomas, and we may sign up for the ziplining excursion if it's offered. This year it was added after we had already booked our excursions. We stopped in San Juan this year, so it'll be fun to go to St. Maarten this time around.

Hi all! We've been booked on this cruise for awhile, but we weren't 100% sure we were going to go until this week. I booked our flights today, so we are most definitely in! Traveling will be me (Lisa), DH (Ben), and DD (Kendall), who will be 10 (about 6 weeks shy of her 11th birthday) at that time. Very excited to have definite plans!

:welcome: Glad you are joining us.

Welcome aboard! Your family has been added to the roll call.

Pete. Would you please take my Daughters friend Nicole off of the roll call and make the friend TBD. Thanks. Nicole has decided to pursue an educational opportunity that makes joining us impossible.

Has anyone started thinking about port adventures for St Thomas/St John and St Maarten? It will be our fourth cruise, but first eastern caribbean so totally new to us! :)

DH and I did Bernard's Tours in St Maarten a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. This time we will have our kids with us and are looking at doing the same tour. Our other option is to take a taxi over to Marigot, then to Maho Beach for the planes.

For St Thomas, DH and I have been on the Doubloon snorkeling excursion twice and had a great time. On last cruise in Jan., we had our DS10 with us and didn't know if he would snorkel or not, so we did the Caribbean Sea Safari, Snorkel and Beach Tour. This gave him the beach option in case he didn't snorkel, but as it turns out, he jumped right in and loved snorkeling. The tour is run by the same company, but adds about an hour on the beach. We had a great time and will probably do this one again since our DD15 hasn't been on it.

Have a great trip Kathy! We love Disneyland! We would love to do a Panama Canal cruise, but unfortunately, school gets in the way.
