ok so where exactly is the Port Cochre (sp?) area of the wildreness lodge i looked at a map and couldn't find it - is it the front or back?

I believe it is the area in front where you pull your car up to unload it.

I have heard that term mentioned before so I looked it up - in case anyone is interested:

Definition - Porte-Cochere is a roof that provides protection between a building entrance and passengers getting into and out of vehicles.

From the French - Porte - gate (or door) and Cochere - coach. Original usage came from horse drawn coaches letting their passengers off at the door, under a roof.
