We are arriving in Orlando (w/ car) the Saturday after T'giving for our AKL Disney trip. The room price was insane for that Saturday night, so we are looking for a super-cheap ($50-75) motel for that one night. The only two things that I'm looking for are clean rooms and breakfast (continental is fine) for a quick getaway in the morning. I would like to avoid a breakfast that consists of nothing but a bag of donuts. Thanks for any suggestions!

There is an inexpensive la quinta near the airport. I think its the airport north. Several years ago I was able to get some rock bottom rates there. It's fine for one night and serves breakfast. I would also look at choice hotels and check trip advisor for anything cheap right outside the disney maingates. You could also stay at a value resort for one night. The All Stars are right around the corner from AKL. I have done that with good success, but the rates may still be higher than what you want to pay.

I would recommend using Hotwire.com. I never go below 3* hotels and haven't been disappointed. I also use www.betterbidding.com to find out exactly what hotel I'd be getting before buying.

Assuming the date you're looking for is Nov 27-28, I can see a 3* in the LBV/DTD area for $45 + tax that incl. cont. breakfast. This look like a match for Country Inn & Suites. Not a guarantee but they've been correct for me around 14 times (betterbidding that is.)

Your dates are very far away by Hotwire standards. I don't start search until 2-3 months out.

Also Fairfield Inn by Marriott offers free cont breakfast with make your own waffles and they're very reasonably priced even w/o Hotwire.
This one near Sea World is only $59/nt on your date if you pre pay.

good luck!:goodvibes

Thanks for the help! We've never had a bad experience with Marriott, so we booked that great rate for the Sea World hotel. :thumbsup2

That's a great deal. Fairfield Inns are slightly lower budget version of reg Marriott. Perfect for when you just need a clean place to sleep.
Waaaay better than a 'motel'. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Have a great trip!!!
