We would just like to say thanks to these great Cast Members who made our recent trip to the World an extra special one. We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and also our 20th year visiting Disney.

The first photo is of our server Frankie at the Crystal Palace. He was really great with super sense of humour and great attentiveness. At the end of our breakfast he brought two cupcakes with candles and a signed card from Pooh, Tigger, Eeeyore and Piglet.

At the end of our slightly damp but fantastic anniversary day we decided to take one last spin with Buzz. As we came off the ride we had a quick look at our photo and headed for the exit. We were then stopped by a group of Cast Members who asked what anniversary we were celebrating as we were wearing our special buttons. They then between the three of them produced two certificates (one for our anniversary and one for our 20th trip) and a complimentary photo for us from the ride.

It is great to see that what is a memorable day can be changed into an unforgettable one just by the extra magic these special Cast Members can provide,

Here's to the Cast Members!

How great it is to hear about the great service that you received to make your trip even more memorable.
All to often we read about the things that went wrong so this post made a nice refreshing change :goodvibes

Lovely to hear stories like this
It's why we all keep going back :)

Great to hear praise given where due!! We made the effort this year to go to guest services when we received special service from a cast member, and filled out recognition forms. I'm sure they get lots of complaints but few of praise

Can you do that? There are a couple we met who were great!
We have had Albert as our server twice at Boma, and he's a real fun guy!
Also,I wrote a letter to the Manager about Erica at Vero Beach a few years ago. She was so good with the kids, (and hunted high and low to get them a slice of pumkin pie to try!)
She thanked us after because the Manager told her, so I think they get some sort of recognition

Yes we had a cm who really went out of her way for our DD. We went to guest services at the park and they had a short form you could fill in - I think they said it would go to her manager or on her file.

Great post! I think it's really important to tell companies (not just Disney) if their staff are performing really well. It's nice to be recognised for giving good service.

I wish I had thought to do that. I remember being in Sunshine Seasons. It was HECTIC!!! I had our tray with our drinks and salads and everything was balancing precariously so DD offered to hold the salads so I could lose the tray and grab our cutlery and napkins. There was nowhere to sit and we got jammed in where we were standing, trying to spy an open table while I was trying to keep DD and myself from being separated, neither of us having a free hand to take hold of the other. Anyway, amidst all this and all the jostling, someone lurched through and knocked one of the salads right out of DD's hand. She was so upset and just dissolved in tears. Out of apparently nowhere, one of the ladies who clears the tables appeared, led us to a table she was about to clear and got us seated. She then disappeared and came back less than a minute later with a new salad and kept coming to check on DD, adding some humour into little comments. Within 5 minutes DD was laughing and eating her meal. This meant a lot to me. An upset child can take a while to get back into holiday mode and we were able to enjoy our meal and carry on with our day.

I tried to tip the CM but she said they weren't allowed tips. Even the 3 attempts, she was adamant that she was not supposed to and she was only doing her job! I still remember her from 2 years later and wonder if I still have a note of her name. It may have seemed like a small thing, but it made such a difference to our day.

I filled out the form for our waitress at California Grill, can't remember her name now but DD fell backwards off her chair, landed smack on her backside, of course like a good parent I :lmao: but the lady brought her out disney postcards, castle shaped confetti and some other bits and bobs but just throughtout the whole meal she was great.

DH had some weird dessert that had a little black ball in it (insert joke here) and we had a laugh with her about it being something to do with some an animal and she played along saying it was from a goat not a sheep like we had said.

Really really nice lady.

Today I booked the Fireworks Dessert Party and the lady who did this for me was called Anne, she was just brilliant, talked to me about the hotel we were staying at, the dessert party itself and was just awesome to deal with.
