We are planning our WDW trip Feb2-Feb 12. The other day I realized that the Super Bowl was going to be on Feb.6th and it is in Jacksonville. For those that have been at the world during previous Florida Super Bowls how are the crowds? We are staying @ BCV and thought of walking over to ESPN. Will this be a zoo? Looking for a little insight.:)

That will not have anything to do with crowds in the parks.. and as far as ESPN, any major sports even will draw a very large crowd to there. If you plan on heading over there, I would get there early. Last time I was there to eat was during the Kentucky Durby.... we waited over an hour to get in (got there fairly early too) and after waiting an hour to get in, our food took another 45 minutes. My husband was peeved to say the least about the food wait, it wasn't because they were super busy (since the other 1/2 of our party got their food & finished way before ours even came), but because when he went to complain to the manager on duty, the waitress brought it to us immediatly...and it was ice-cold, meaning she forgot about bringing it out to us! They gave us a "sorry" and that was it. My husband pushed his aside & walked out, me and the kids ate (after asking them to re-heat it). They took off my husbands dinner and said nothing else about our inconvience. We have eaten there many times before & nothing like that had ever happened. This was however the first time we ate there during a major sporting event...

Two years ago we were in Epcot wondering where everyone was when we realized it was Super Bowl Sunday. DH stood by the fountain leading to World Showcase and did a panoramic shot with the video camera and there are only a few people in the distance! I don't remember where the game was being played.

We were at AKL for the playoffs in January of this year (not the superbowl, but a big game none the less). Everyone was out at the pool bar (so many Pats fans!), watching the game, drinking pina coladas, it was so fun and relaxing. I'm sure they'll have the game on at your pool bar, too!

we were there for the super bowl a few years ago and i would say to get to espn at least two hours early.
they did have a out door bbq and alot of activies going on in front of espn.

We were in Epcot once on Super Bowl Sunday and it was fabulous. Nobody there!
