Super Bowl Recipes for a Group

Baked artichoke dip

1 can artichoke hearts in water, chopped
1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
1/2 cup sour cream, light or regular
1/2 cup mayo (I use Hellman's canola oil mayo)
8 oz block Monterey Jack cheese, small dice
Garlic powder to taste

Combine and bake at 375 until golden and bubbly, usually 28-35 minutes. Serve with crackers of your choice.

We make the same dip but serve it with tortilla chips.

A cold shrimp ring with cocktail sauce is always a hit and lots of places put them on sale for the super bowl.

I love Italian Sausage in the crockpot. Very easy to make and everyone loves it.

I like this idea too.

Love this idea. The people that we have over like things the hotter the better.

I made this over the weekend with fresh peppers. I de-seeded and cleaned and it was very mild. I actually spread the dip in a baking dish and topped with the shredded cheese. We put pickled jalapeno peppers on the side. Very good dip. Thank you.

Sausage balls are always good and easy to do.

1 pound pork sausage
3 cups Bisquick
4 cups cheddar
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. parsley

Roll into 1" balls and bake 25 minutes @ 350 degrees.

This is another favorite.

Warm Bacon Cheese Dip

4 slices bacon
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayo
8 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
2 green onions, finely chopped
Ritz crackers

Cook, drain and crumble bacon. Mix cream cheese and mayo until smooth. Add swiss cheese, onions and bacon to cheese and microwave 2 minutes, stir. Cook another 2 minutes and crush 4 Ritz crackers on top. Serve warm with remaining Ritz.

I've never made this but sounds good, if you like spinach :)

Cheesy Spinach Snacks

2 eggs
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 cups (8 ounces) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Dash of Nutmeg (opt)
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
2. In a medium-size bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, eggs, spinach and cheese until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
3. Remove from oven and let cool on rack for 15 minutes. Cut into squares, then cut squares into triangles and serve immediately.

I love spinach and I think I have everything at home to make the Bacon Cheese Dip. I need to make that one this weekend. Can you tell I am leading up to the Super Bowl. :thumbsup2

:) Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I thought it was DELISH. Now you have a good idea of how to make it hotter...

Another good one, not hot, just YUM is hot pizza dip....

1 block cream cheese
Italian seasoning
1 cup pizza sauce
Mozzerella cheese (I eyeball these too...maybe a cup...enough to cover and make it bubbly and gooey)
fresh parm cheese.

Mix up your cream cheese and italian seasoning, spread in the bottom of a small casserole dish. Combine your parm and mozzerella cheese, sprinkle half of it over the cream cheese. Spread pizza sauce over cheese, sprinkle remaining cheese on top...bake at 350 until it's bubbly. Serve with toasted baguette slices...I like to brush them with some garlic infused oil.
Mix up the cream cheese

Love these ideas. It is good to see what others from all over serve during football.

My husband asks for this every year....SO easy to make and tasty as heck!

Slow cooker buffalo chicken sandwiches:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into halves
1 (17.5 fluid ounce) bottle buffalo wing sauce, divided (we use Franks)
1/2 ounce package dry ranch salad dressing mix
2 tbsp butter
hoagie buns

Place chicken breasts into a slow cooker and pour 3/4 of the wing sauce and the ranch dressing mix. cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

Once chicken has cooker, add the butter, and shred the meat finely with 2 forks. Put the rest of the wing sauce in slow cooker and cook for another 30 min to an hour. Pile the meat onto the hoagies and enjoy!

This is on my list for our Superbowl party - one recommendation is to add shredded cole slaw mix combined with bleu cheese dressing to the bun when serving.

This sounds so good. How many sandwiches does this make?
