The MVP of this year's Super Bowl won't be hauling his trophy down to Walt Disney World. For the first time in 19 years, the Magic Kingdom is skipping its "What's Next" campaign in which champion athletes tell the camera, "I'm going to Disney World!" Walt Disney World spokesman Craig Dezern said the "What's Next" spots weren't a good fit with current theme park promotions.

It's fine if they are not going to do them, but, why do they have to lie to us? Firstly, that is a lame excuse, and secondly, those commercials wouldn't conflict with anything, no matter what they were running.
I'm sure cash has a little something to do with it, or they can simply say the honest truth "we've run the same ad over the last 19 years and seen no activity in our parks due to the ads running, therefore we chose not to run them anymore". They just lie like that. There's no way I believe that excuse. Sorry.

I figured the parade was the reason the MK was opened til 9PM that Monday(expecting larger crowds). Maybe they still assume people are going to come after the game. It seems weird if nothing special is going on and the rest of the nights are regular closing.

I know why they did it. It's because we're going to be in MK that Monday, and DH is a huge, lifelong Eagles fan and has been dreaming of meeting Donovan McNabb--in other words, Murphy's Law! He's going to be so disappointed if the Eagles win.
