So what was your favorite commercial during the Super Bowl? I didn't get to see them all, but I did catch the one the beaver saving the guy from going off the bridge in his car - not even sure what the commercial was for, but it was funny!:rotfl:

Dorito commercials took the night for me. :thumbsup2

I did like seeing Eminem doing the Chrysler commercials too.:thumbsup2

The beaver was hilarious, but our favorite was the kid dressed as Darth Vader starting the VW. I know it wasn't necessarily the most inspired ad, but the kid's reactions were priceless!

Loved the e-trade baby too.

I only watched about half of them, but I liked the Audi commercial with the rich guys breaking out of prison (play the Kenny G song!) Most that I saw really didn't appeal to me. And after years of watching Super Bowl ads, I still don't know what godaddy is - my impression is some kind of porn site?

That was my favorite....I couldnt stop laughing when they said..." Play the Kenny G song and that will slow them down....and the faces on the prisoners when they started playing the sond made me spit my soda out :lmao: my son had all his football friends over for the game and I couldn't stop laughing about that part...they had no clue who Kenny G was but they liked and laughed at that commercial.

YES. The Audi commercial was great, and I liked the Doritos ads too. Of course, HUGE bonus for me to see the Captain America preview! Yay Cap!

The problem I had with the Eminem Chrysler ad was that Eminem DOES NOT DRIVE. He did an interview with Rolling Stone where he admitted to not driving (he's afraid to). Even if he did drive, I can't imagine he'd drive a Chrysler.

my favorite was the vw commercial with the little darth vader. i wish they'd shown the entire thing though. someone posted it on here a day or two ago, and it's really funny :rotfl:

That ad was for Bridgestone. Overall, a week outing for commercials.

At least the cheeseheads won. The Lombardi trophy went home.

I enjoyed "Cram it in the Boot" Mini commercial!!

"Have you ever crammed it in the boot before?"
"Uhh..no"

:lmao:

I was pretty underwhelmed with this year's offerings. I did like the Doritos commercial with 'Grandpa'.

I was disappointed that they didn't even show the complete Darth Vader commercial as seen on youtube in the past couple days. Also the audio seemed messed up. I don't know if it was just my tv but when it came on, you could barely even hear the Imperial March. :p

Doritos with the Pug was funny. But I think Pepsi Max was the best when the wife hit the blonde jogger with can!!:rotfl:

All and all,the commercials were very boring this year.

The Imperial March on my tv was so loud it scared our dog.

I had a real hard time keeping a straight face in front of my sons with that line!

I also really liked the Eminem/Chrysler ad. Detroit has fallen on hard times, but it's got some great things too and tons of heritage.

I also liked the "Beetle" VW ad.

I also had a hard time not laughing at the Pepsi Max "one track mind" ad.

I liked Darth Vader, the beaver saving the guy from the bridge, and the etrade talking baby with the sneezing cat.
"I told you to get a flu shot."

None of them were really memorable this year. Maybe the Richard Lewis/Roseanne Barr Snickers commercial, but even that wasn't that good. I liked the Darth Vader kid, but I don't even remember what car that was a commercial for. :confused3

The Captain America trailer left me underwhelmed. As did the Super 8 trailer.

But I really want to see Battle: Los Angeles now.

There were a "few" good ones, but most of the commercials were real lame. The Darth Vader, the Beetle and the first Coke commercial (the dragon one) were the only ones I liked.

The Go Daddy commercials, as always IMO, had too much sexual overtones to it. The Sealy (sp?) commercial was just as bad. The first Doritos commercial was just plain  gross. On top of all that, there were just too many darn car commercials! They dominated all the commercials.

The commercials in past years were much better than this year's.

We got some good laughs over the Doritos' commercials here. The jogger one especially. The Darth Vader kid was just so dang cute. I missed the beaver one I think. I don't remember it if I saw it.

The first half ads were much better then the second half ones.

Did you guys get to see the Johnsonville Brat commercial, or was that a local one for us. The commercial has been playing for about a month now, and I happened to catch a cut down version of it at the end of the game.
