On those football grids with the numbers where you bet on the scores, do you call them boxes or squares?

From talking to my friends, the boxes / squares depends on where you're from. We're sitting here arguing over this. they're saying it's squares and I'm saying that people from the area of NYC/New Jersey area say boxes. I hope more people reply to this. Thanks so far!

A box is three dimensional. The things you write your name in on a football board are two dimensional so they're squares!

I call them "money in the bank".... LOL... whatever they are called, I frequently win them.

But as it turns out, this year I came up empty for the SB, but our pool runs all year long, and I did come out ahead for the year.
