Super 8 motels-question

I made a reservation online for a room at a Super 8 Motel. I never recieved any confirmation though. A couple of days later I sent them an e-mail asking whether they could confirm my reservation but haven´t gotten any reply. Is this normal?

I've never known anyone to reserve at Super-8 ahead of time. It's usually just where we would stop at the end of a long day. I don't know if they're normally booked up though.

This is the Super 8 at Times Square in NYC. I definately wanted to make a reservation for that one.

Our family stayed there a few years back and DW & I are fairly sure that we received a conf#. If I recall, there is a 1-800 that you can call.

In Times Square, I'm sure you need a reservation! I didn't even know there was one there. The only Super-8s I've ever seen were like travelers motels...if that makes any sense. Always seemed to me like it was just travelers passing thru.

It gets mixed reviews but I´m sure we´ll be o.k. We really just need a place to crash.
