For those that prefer to fly from Toronto (compared to Buffalo),
Sunwing is having a pretty good sale for "Canada standards".
Visit http://www.flysunwing.com/ and enter your dates for September, for example.
For 2 people, this is what I got:
OUTBOUND FLIGHT
23/Sep/2007 Toronto (YYZ) to
Orlando (MCO) 06:30 AM to
09:30 AM Flight No: WG030
RETURN FLIGHT
30/Sep/2007 Orlando (MCO) to
Toronto (YYZ) 10:45 AM to
1:25 PM Flight No: WG031
Total (taxes in): Can $526 for 2
I am going to wait for Southwest (because I want to go for 8 nights AND because Sunwing only flies on Sundays, returning too early the next week - 10:45 AM).
If we add the fuel cost to travel to Buffalo + parking for a week or a night of hotel there (here I can always ask a friend to drop me off/pick me up), I'm not sure if it would be a GREAT difference in price.
