Sunshine drink from Beaches and Cream

I keep trying to ask this and get the dreaded server busy!

I'd like to make these drinks at a camping rally for the kids (and me!). Other than vanilla ice cream and little orange candies, does anyone know what is in it..and amounts? Guesses welcome. Oh, and does anyone know where to buy the little orange slices? I can find the big ones. Thanks in advance. Doris

Hi Doris!

We went over to B&C last December and shared on of those delicious concoctions. I make my own version at home and the grandkids love them.

I use orange sherbert, orange soda and whipped topping in about equal amounts. You can vary according to your tastes. I use diet soda and it is a pretty good diet recipe that way.

I would love to find some of the tiny orange slices as well as I loved them and I do not like the regular orange slices at all. I had thought that maybe a fancy candy place might have something of the sort.

I am not sure where I read it but I think it was on here and they said orange sherbet and the canned whipped topping. It does taste, to me, like the real thing. I think the Cool Whip would give it a heavier taste but you could try it and see.

I love making clones of things, if they are easy enough and this sure is.
