Sunshine Challenge - week 6

Hey ladies! Sorry it took a few extra days to start the week 6 thread. I weigh in on Tuesdays, so I work on it then...but I have been so busy! We are having a community wide yard sale this weekend and dh and I have been going crazy! LOL! And last weekend was my cousins wedding, which I did the cake, favors and dessert table for! All those sweets were tempting....but I did my best and lost 3 lbs this week!!!! Nutrisystem seems to be working for me. My new goal, starting next week, is to begin working out regularly. I think that should help speed things up! Hope you all are having a great week and looking forward to summer.

welll SHOCKAROONIE!! i went to my WI at noon today and somehow by the grace of God I lost 3 lbs! i was stunned. i didn't expect a loss at all -- in comparison to the total opposite last week. maybe my metabolism finally got a shake-up. anyhow --

kamy -- GREAT JOB on the loss after a weekend of temptations!! yikes!! i have another of those this weekend too. thankfully it's at my house so i can control the variety a little!

denecarter - Wow 5.4!! You are doing fantastic! Keep up the great work.


For me - I was tempted by food all day and I fought it and won. We had a retirement party for someone yesterday and there was so much food. I did have a few things yesterday, and I was so tempted by these chocolate covered creme puffs today. I'm so glad I was good today and ate the lunch I was supposed to. It feels good to make good choices.
 
I'm looking at some pretty impressive weight loss totals on this list :banana: You guys are AWESOME :cheer2:

As of my last weigh-in, I'm down a total of 2.5 for the challenge. :thumbsup2 Putting me just a smidgen above my goal. :yay:

This time of year is so darned chaotic - if I can hold strong until the end of school (June 21 here...) I think I'll be doin' well! :rolleyes1
 
I want to get on the scale but I know that I will be dissappointed next week. I came home from school on MOnday went straight to bed and almost slept on and off for 48 hours. I either had a stomach virus or a severe migrain. I have had no appetite and everything that I eat practically runs through me. I might show a great loss this week but it will be back next week when I start back to eating.

Congrats to all the great losses so far this week.
 
WOW - these past few days have some real "losers" on board!

Molli I knew it would happen and 3 lbs is enough to keep the mojo going!

Kamy you have been a busy "beaver" - all the while, losing those pounds!

Mel C great plan and, yes, you are right it does feel good to be able to know you stuck to it!

DeneCarter - I am so impressed with 5.4 gone - and in just one week!

AkaSnowWhite is right very IMPRESSIVE!!

Me, I'll take being down .5 this week which makes it 3 total for this challenge. I am hoping to do pretty well on the weekend and then DH gone for 2 weeks and I am just not having anything in the house that is tempting. I know I have a few dinners out with friends but I usually can do okay with a salad. I have not been doing well on an exercercise routine and I MUST get that back into the picture for me too!
