Hi,

Taking a trip in 3 weeks to Disney and we haven't been to DW since the Land has been remodeled.

so, what have you eaten at the new Sunshine that you really liked? We always used to order the chix soup and italian hoagie, but thatj's gone now.

When we were there last month my husband ordered the Black Forest Ham and Salami Grinder $7.59. I was not hungry and just wanted a bite of his. It was really good . We ended up splitting it.

I loved the chicken with flatbread, and my gosh, for dessert the fruit tulips are out of this world (you can use a snack credit on them too).

Okay - what exactly is a fruit tulip!!!!

A fruit tulip is indeed like a fruit tart, but the secret is the pastry shell has some chocolate coating on the inside which sounds weird but just makes it so good. When we were there, each one had fresh strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi on top of a vanilla custard filling with the chocolate lining the pastry shell. Wow, are they good.

Seasons also has some nice looking strawberry shortcake, chocolate mousse cake, and several other upscale dessert options which are a bit more interesting than you normally find at CS places in WDW. I think their pastries are more elaborate and creative than those in France's bakery...plus you can use a snack credit on the Seasons ones.

We loved the chicken caesar salad....nothing else appealed to us.....

Soooo good. I didn't get to savor mine because our fast pass for Soarin was about to expire. They had the best dessert selection for a Counter Service meal that I saw anywhere.

Loved, loved, loved the turkey and muenster on focaccia w/chipolte mayo. And the butterfinger cheesecake and chocolate mousse cheesecake were awesome as well. I will be getting that sandwich in January!

Ok, sounds good. Have to try those dessert tarts. What do they run? We're not on free dining, unfortuntaely, cuz we just decided to do this trip recently.

tikiggoess, was your sandwich spicy?

I havent been yet but since the fruit tulip can be had as a snack on DDP then it has to be under $4

We loved this place, especially for lunch on the plan. I had seared tuna on mixed greens with sesame rice wine dressing. Definitely one of the best counter service in my opinion.
