I plan on getting married at Sunset Pointe next year and would love to have more then the 8 guests that are allowed. I have cut the guest list down because this is my dream location. It would be nice if the Disney people would at least allow the 18 guests just like they do at the other locations. When I was on you tube I was searching weddings at Sunset Pointe and I came across a video that had way more then 8 guests. Did they used to allow more at this location? If they did, how come now they only allow 8?

I hear ya, that was my preffered location too, unfortunatly it would not even allow for my complete immidiate family to attend.
I don't want to pay an extra 1000.00 for WP beach, so I am looking at the swan and dolphin now...

Do you have a link to the video with more than 8 people? My husband and I were married there in January 2008, and they were very strict about the 8 people limit (10 counting the bride and groom). There were only three of us there for the wedding, so it didn't matter. The area is very little and on a hill, so I can't imagine that it would be able to hold very many more than 8 people.

It's either from a 2007 or 2008 Wedding. There are 4 parts to the wedding. Here is the first link. Notice the number of chairs, and the number of people that are coming on the golf carts. Also there are children running.

Its just crazy to me. I want 15 people too!!!!! lol You're wedding was just a year later. It just makes me wonder if they allow people to have more guest sometimes. What do you guys think about this?

Several years ago they allowed more people (I think it was up to 15) at both smaller sites—Sunset Pointe and Sunrise Terrace. For some reason, they cut the guest counts way down one year when they released the latest packages. Maybe it was logistically tricky to hold a larger event in those spaces....

It's so frustrating-- the smaller maximum number of guests-- because I really really really wanted my ceremony at the Poly but with 4 kids and 4 parents, plus siblings and spouses, there's just no way to cut the list to 10.
