Does anyone have a link to somewhere that would give me the exact time of sunset for the days in December? I'm trying to figure out when the 5:15 showing of CP is dark.

I don't know od a link, but I grew up on the East Coast, and sunset is 4:30 ish past halloween, & the darkest night of the year is winter solstice (Dec 22nd). It will be dark for the 5:15 show! Anyone have more info?

It depends on how dark is dark. http://www.sunrisesunset.com/calendar.asp

You can see sunset will be between 5:28 and 5:38 PM down in Orlando this coming December. It's earlier with a increase in latitude.* What are called Civil, Nautical, and Astronomical Twilights occur progressively later (or earlier in the case of sunrises). The Winter Solstice gives us our longest night (in the Northern Hemisphere). You may also want to check for the moon phases.

By way of comparison, I'm expecting sunset around 6:50 PM (Daylight Savings Time) for my late October visit to WDW.

*Or with a change in attitude! ;)

Hope this helps. Bill
